Also know as green amethyst, prasiolite was an early love in my gemstone journey. The love still grows. Translucent and sparkling in a gentle, pale, mint-green color... it feels refreshing.
Prasiolite is a stone of protection and transformation. The marquis cut stone used in this necklace is set in sterling silver, with a 14k gold accent ring. The shape of the pendant makes me this of a seed pod. Just like prasilotie, a seed pod offers protection until the time for transformation is right, keeping that seed safe so it can become the fullest, brightest version of self.
