    A rose-cut garnet in a soft plum-wine hue rests quietly in a hand-fabricated sterling silver bezel, revealing depth rather than brilliance. Its color shifts between violet, mulberry, and smoky rose depending on the light—subtle, grounded, and endlessly intriguing.

    The name Umbra refers to the deepest part of a shadow, a place of stillness and quiet power. Garnet has long been associated with protection, vitality, and resilience, and here it feels introspective rather than fiery—an intimate stone meant to be worn close.

    We partnered with a family run factory in Nepal to create this ring.  Each ring is one of a kind, with natural inclusions and tonal variation that speak to the individuality of the stone. A timeless piece for those drawn to shadow, depth, and understated beauty.
