Tourmaline Cairn Earrings

You've been hiking since first light and as you near the summit, the trail is becoming vague.  Which way to go?  Ah!  Someone has taken the time to stack little piles of rocks, cairns, to mark the way for others.  

These earrings are little cairns of green tourmaline.  A reminder to accept the wisdom of those who have gone before, and leave something helpful for those to follow.
