Part of our "Navigating Change Collection", this necklace amends the adage that "change is the only constant" by recognizing the constancy within ourselves.
I have found that although most everything in life changes, I can turn inward and find a part of me that has always been the same. I recently reconnected with a friend from early childhood, and connecting with her brought this quality to light. We have both wandered, struggled, and learned separately for decades and yet we still know each other in that foundational way. What is it that remains constant? Give me another 40 years and perhaps I'll be able to name it.
During times when change feels overwhelming, turning inward and connecting with that constant part of yourself can be stabilizing. You, after all, will be with you your whole life. It's good to have a friend like you.
